Current Career Opportunities
Nehemiah Corporation of America has a current opening for a
full-time Software Developer. This position is located in our Sacramento office,
Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.
The primary responsibilities of the Software Developer include designing,
developing, and implementing systems-level software and providing systems support.
Technical Skills Desired:
- Understanding of database design and use of queries using Microsoft SQL Server and transact SQL.
- Experience using Visual Basic 6.0, VB Script, and ASP to develop desktop and web based applications.
- Knowledge of development and implementation using client/server, distributed architecture and web technologies.
- Understanding of software development processes and the software development life cycle.
- Knowledge of Windows Server and Windows XP operations and development environments.
- Experience using Visual Studio.NET and the Microsoft .NET Framework to develop desktop and web based applications.
- Mathematical knowledge and ability to think in conceptual and abstract terms.
- Effective communication skills, both with technical and non-technical people.
- Demonstrated organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Java, JSP, Servlets, XML, Web Services, and Coldfusion development.
- Experience with Workflow-based applications.
Certificates Required:
Microsoft Certified Application Developer, Microsoft Certified Solution Developer, or equivalent.
